The African Women’s Studies Centre, University of Nairobi participated in the Beyond Zero Campaign Free Medical Camp flagoff and Roadshow on 5th July, 2014. The Beyond Zero Campaign is a brainchild of the First Lady of the Republic of Kenya, Mrs Margaret Kenyatta which is part of the initiatives outlined in the Strategic Framework for the engagement of the First Lady in HIV control and promotion of maternal, newborn and child health in Kenya that was unveiled on World AIDS Day 2013.
